This is a piece that has been in the works for awhile. The concept is simple, you take an apple and cut it in half. the more complex part is getting the pieces to move apart from one another so that instead of having one painting you now have two. I wanted to come up with a piece that was interactive so the viewer could take part in the painting instead of it just hanging there. I once again played to Roy Liechtenstein using a white highlight and then using dots to participate in forming the image.
